Remember how… I loved you tickling my back

Remember how… we knew our lives had no lack

Remember how… you smiled when I entered the room

Remember how… you looked as my beautiful groom

Remember how… I reached to always hold your hand

I’m stepping out

Beyond projection’s gaze

Assumption’s trailing

Out of sight

Stumbling over a phrase

Doubt is packed

With worry and fear

And posted non-return

Potential’s cup

Now overflows

Possibilities at every turn

Choices float

Just within reach

I’ve stuffed my pockets full

My head held high

I ebb and flow

With the Universe’s pull

Love always holds you, it will never hinder you

Love will always make you shine

Love will always carve a path for you

Love is your greatest friend; your most beloved

Love will always ensure you are following your true path

Love will be your beacon of light; ensure you shine brightly

Love trusts the process, it conspires with your soul

Love co-creates all of your dreams

Love grows with your imagination

Love wants what’s best for you; always

Love clears the way; it knows of no obstacles

Love requires no deposit

Love is the true certainty of your life

Love supports, embraces and ensures success

 

Freewill is the choice; the choice to live with fear in your heart, or with love in your heart. The latter will always protect you; hold you safe and uncover for you where you should be and what you need to do to fulfill your life purpose. All fear seeks to do, is pull the rug out from under your feet.

I’ve been looking behind now

For far, far too long

At the choices I’ve made

Discern where I went wrong

 

Was it me, was it you?

Was it beyond our control?

Unencumbered, we embark

Toward a shiny new goal

 

My mind’s gone in circles

On a continuous loop

Senselessly replaying

When I need to regroup

 

The embrace of the sadness

Now loosens its grip

And I unhook all the tubes

Of the love-laden drip

 

Evicted from my dreams

No assumptions are made

You’ve chosen your path

Your resolve was unswayed

 

I had wanted the chance

To reconcile how you left

To say goodbye properly

To show that I was bereft
